Does it pop directly off the cob?
Yes, it really does! Each popcorn cob is packaged with a microwave popcorn bag. Place the popcorn cob in the bag and microwave for about 2 minutes. The result? A full bag of delicious and always farm fresh microwave popcorn!
What do you add to the popcorn to make it pop off the cob?
Believe it or not - we do not add anything to make it pop off the cob. No oils or butter are needed for a Poppin' Cob to pop in the microwave. The cob itself along with the moisture in the popcorn appropriately transmit heat in the microwave allowing for it to pop on its own without ANY added ingredients.
Are there any flavors added?
We now offer 5 delicious flavored options! White Cheddar, Salted Caramel, Dill Pickle, Spicy Buffalo, and Buttery Garlic. Should you prefer no flavoring, no problem! We still sell our original, single ingredient Poppin' Cobs.
How do you make your flavored varieties?
First, you'll make the popcorn on the cob.
1. Remove packaging and place the cob in the provided brown bag.
2. Pop in microwave for 1.5-2 minutes.
3. Carefully remove. Spray or drizzle oil or butter to your liking.
4. Sprinkle on seasoning packet. Stir or toss to mix.
Enjoy!
How do I know when the cob is done popping in the microwave?
All microwaves are a little different. As a general rule, you should stop at 2 - 3 seconds between pops so that you do not burn the popcorn. There may be some popcorn left on the cob but you will still have a full bag of popcorn. Be careful to roll the end of the bag a couple of times (fold lines on the bag will help!) so that popcorn doesn't escape.
